SEVEN YEARS RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT TO A CANDIDATE IN A VYAPAM RELATED CASE

The Special Judge, CBI, Vyapam Cases, Bhopal has today sentenced Shri Beerendra Singh Gurjar (Candidate) to undergo seven years rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs.7000/- in an another Vyapam related case.

CBI had registered the case on 05.08.2015 against the said accused in compliance of the orders of Supreme Court of India and took over the investigation of the case, earlier registered at Police Station Janhgirabad, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), wherein it was alleged that the accused had cheated by impersonation and forgery in the examination of Police Constable Examination 2013 (II) conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MP VYAPAM).

After completion of investigation, CBI filed supplementary charge sheet against the accused candidate, Shri Beerendra Singh Gurjar before the Court of 8th ASJ, Bhopal (MP), on 19.12.2018.

The Trial Court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
