FOUR DAYS POLICE CUSTODY TO PRINCIPAL COMMISSIONER, DELHI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (DDA) AND THREE PRIVATE PERSONS IN AN ALLEGED BRIBERY CASE

The Special Judge, CBI Cases, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi has today remanded four days Policy Custody to Principal Commissioner, DDA, New Delhi and three private persons in an alleged bribery case.

CBI has arrested the Principal Commissioner, DDA, Delhi and private persons yesterday while transacting the alleged bribe of Rs. Four Lakh in conspiracy with each other for showing undue favour in the matter of alleged allotment of flat.

A case was registered on 04.04.2018 u/s 120-B of IPC & Sec. 7, 12 and 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of PC Act, 1988 against Principal Commissioner, DDA, Delhi and three private persons (all residents of Delhi) on the allegations of a matter related to bribery etc.

Searches were conducted at various locations in Delhi at the residential & official premises of accused persons which led to recovery of incriminating documents including details of property, bank accounts etc.

Investigation is continuing.
