SEVEN YEARS RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT TO A CANDIDATE IN A VYAPAM RELATED CASE

            The Special Judge, CBI Cases, Gwalior has sentenced Shri Ram Lakhan Baghel, a candidate in a Vyapam related Police Constable Recruitment Test 2012 to undergo seven years rigorous imprisonment with fine of Rs. 16,000/-.

           CBI had registered the case on 13.08.2015 against Sh. Ram Lakhan Baghel & unknown persons and taken over the investigation of FIR 125/13 of Police Station Antri, Gwalior related to cheating by impersonation in PCRT 2012. The said case was registered in compliance on the orders dated 09.07.2015 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India passed in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 372/2015.

            After investigation, CBI filed a supplementary chargesheet U/s 120B, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC and ¾ of MP Recognized Examination Act against the accused.

           The Trial Court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
